The Supply Chain & Logistics Professionals network (SCLP) has been appointed as an official Supporting Partner of China’s largest transport and logistics expo, the China (Shenzhen) International Logistics and Transportation Fair (CILF) being held at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Centre during 12 to 14 October 2016.

The China International Logistics Fair appeals to professionals from across the transport and logistics industries, and enjoys a reputation as an effective platform for industry practitioners to exchange ideas and develop their industry connections and knowledge. At the same time, the trade fair promotes China’s logistics industry to an increasingly international audience.

Now in its 11th year, the CILF trade show has grown to attract over 1,400 exhibitors - and in October 2016 is expected to welcome 25,000 visitors from over 70 countries and regions – including a delegation from the UK.

During CILF 2016, SCLP will provide support for the visiting exhibitors on the UK Pavilion and will then host an industry Networking Mixer function, connecting delegates visiting on the UK China Logistics Mission with supply chain and logistics professionals from across South China.

Mark Millar, SCLP founder and convenor, said: “I am delighted that our SCLP network will be collaborating with CILF as one of its official Supporting Partners this year. The CILF trade show has grown into the highest profile logistics and transport expo in China – by far the largest in Asia – and provides an ever-growing number of visitors with multiple opportunities to enhance their industry knowledge and further develop those all-important business connections.”

The SCLP network for Supply Chain and Logistics Professionals was established by Mark Millar in Hong Kong and embraces an ever-growing number of industry practitioners working across supply chain management – from logistics and procurement to freight forwarding, air cargo, port operations and related maritime services.

Through a series of networking mixers and speaker luncheons, the SCLP network enables participants to connect on a regular basis with their industry peers and hear from a range of high-profile speakers on issues affecting and impacting supply chain and logistics.

More than 800 industry practitioners have attended one or more SCLP functions - participating in this ideal platform for networking, sharing and learning.
