Hong Kong 2030+: Towards a Planning Vision and Strategy Transcending 2030

Thank You for attending our SCLP Speaker Luncheon on 29 March 2017, featuring a comprehensive briefing from guest speaker Ms Phyllis Li Chi-miu JP, Deputy Director of Planning for the HKSAR Government:

Hong Kong 2030+: Towards a Planning Vision and Strategy Transcending 2030 updates the territorial development strategy promulgated in 2007. It adopts a visionary, proactive, pragmatic and action-oriented approach to guide the future planning, land and infrastructure development - and the shaping of the built and natural environment of HK beyond 2030. Besides presenting the positioning of Hong Kong in the regional and global context - and the local challenges and opportunities - HK2030+ also discusses how the proposed conceptual framework - which covers economic uses including Logistics - would promote Hong Kong as a liveable, competitive and sustainable “Asia's World City".

Lucky draw prizes were drawn and presented by guest speaker Phyllis Li - a bottle of Pinot Gris wine was presented to prize draw winner Ryan Chan, Secretary General of the HKCTOA and a copy of  Mark Millar's book Global Supply Chain Ecosystems was won by Stacey A Prescott, Naval Liaison Officer at the US Consulate General.
